Exam Common Questions

Questions

  1. How do I take exams?
  2. Where can I find a proctor application?

Answers

  1. How do I take exams?

If a professor decides to assess you in the form of an exam, they may choose to use an online exam, a take-home exam, or a proctored exam. Online exams are timed exams administered through a special online testing system. Take-home exams are usually written exams and can either be downloaded and printed directly from your computer or will be mailed out to your home address. A proctored exam requires that you make arrangements with a testing service or professional individual in your area administer the exam. The Online Learning office coordinates group test sessions for students who can come to campus. More information on proctored testing can be found in the online Student Resource Center under "Proctored Exam Information".
