Part-time Study
Mechanical Technology
Program Overview
This AAS offering is ideal for preparing technicians for employment
in the mechanical design and manufacturing fields.
Available for part-time evening study, it also prepares graduates
to pursue a baccalaureate degree in engineering technology.
This program begins with courses in mathematics, physics,
CAD, solid modeling, and manufacturing processes. Later
technical topics include mechanics, hydraulics, materials, and
machine design. Courses in composition, communication,
social science, and humanities round out the program.
