Human-Computer Interaction

Program Overview

Human-computer interaction is the "discipline concerned with the design, evaluation and implementation of interactive computing systems for human use and the study of the major phenomena surrounding them" (http://sigchi.org/cdg). It's about designing with the user in mind!

Curriculum Review

The program consists of 52 credit hours, with the foundation of the curriculum based on factors determining usability (user research and usability testing; interaction design) as well as multidisciplinary areas such as science, engineering, industrial design, graphic design, psychology, anthropology, and sociology.
