International Logistics and Transportation

Program Overview

Logistics has turned into a sink or swim industry. The swimmers think strategically. They build successful international supply chains; finesse sourcing and material purchases in a global market; balance worldwide production schedules; deliver on just-in-time, customized demands; and optimize real-time control of their inventory and assets. Are you a swimmer? We’ll turn you into one.

RIT's Center for Multidisciplinary Studies offers a wide and varied menu of courses in the area of International Logistics and Transportation at both the undergraduate and graduate level. All of these courses are available through distance learning in ten week (quarter system) online classes. Each course is designed to provide students with an understanding of the fundamentals of the subject, practical experience in creating and developing information products related to that subject, and perspectives on the latest trends and developments in the subject area.
