RIT Offers Military Service Scholarships for all active-duty military service personnel eligible for financial assistance
RIT offers military service scholarships to all active-duty military service personnel. Scholarship recipients will have 15 percent of their tuition covered by the award.
“RIT values service to our country,” says Mandie Klingelhoffer, Veterans and Military Services Office. “This scholarship and the special services and support we provide members of the military are our way of showing our appreciation for those that serve. We see this as a way to fill the gap between the education benefits that the military receives, and our tuition costs.”
This scholarship is only available to active duty members of the US Armed Services attending RIT, Part-time, Online or on campus. Requests for this scholarship must be made each Financial Aid year. The Financial Aid year runs June 1st to May 31st.
To apply for this scholarship, simply print out and complete this form (PDF form) and return it to RIT’s Veterans and Military Services Office, Bausch & Lomb Center – Room A126, 58 Lomb Memorial Drive, Rochester, NY 14623. Fax: 585-475-7164.
