Provide Facilities Management personnel with transportation to various locations on campus. Perform various shipping and receiving duties in order to supplement regular personnel.
Unload trucks, place goods on loading dock. Check orders against packing lists and complete necessary paperwork. Label supplies neatly for delivery to departments. Place completed package orders in bins marked for delivery. Clerical responsibilities include: Filing purchase orders, proof of delivery receipts and taking messages. Entering receiving report date into computer system for the purpose of records and invoicing. Assist with moving of office equipment, furniture, and deliveries. Drive shuttle van that transports personnel to work-related activities, meetings, and seminars. Coordinate pickups through the utilization of a two-way radio dispatched by the Operations Center. Deliver express packages and documents, which require immediate attention
Must be available in four (4) hour blocks of time. Valid driverís license required - All verbal or written employment offers will be contingent upon completion and clearance of a criminal and/or Motor Vehicle background check. Must use conduct at all times that is courteous, friendly, helpful, and cooperative to students, staff, coworkers, and visitors. Must have knowledge of campus locations. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Good physical health. Experience with hand and power pallet jacks. Must have good communication skills and knowledge of campus helpful. Basic computer skills.
