The Rochester District Umpires Association (RDUA) is searching for some quality umpiring prospects for the upcoming 2016 baseball and softball season. The RDUA services baseball and softball leagues in Monroe County throughout the spring, summer, and fall. These leagues include high school baseball (Varsity, JV, & Modified levels) and local and travel baseball and softball leagues for youth and adults. No umpiring experience is necessary but knowledge of the game is very helpful. The RDUA provides training for umpires to become certified for high school baseball. - Must be 18 and over. - Must apply for and pass NYSED fingerprinting for high school baseball, or background check for summer leagues. The Accounts Receivable Intern will be responsible for supporting the Accounts Receivable and Collections functions in a Shared Services environment. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to credit research, cash application support, invoicing, collections and dispute management support, This position is vital in supporting the team in meeting monthly collection and delinquency targets, while maintaining relationships with both external and internal customers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Collection of past due accounts receivable balances Research and resolution of customer disputes. Respond promptly to customer requests for information and documentation; Maintain notes in ERP system to document collections correspondence. Provide support to other members of the Accounts Receivable team in the areas of cash application, invoicing, credit research and audit activities. Provide excellent customer service.
SKILLS REQUIRED: Background in business, finance or other related discipline; Strong communication skills; Proficient in Microsoft Office, in particular Excel; Organized, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task; Excellent communication skills
