Position Summary: Corrigan Moving Systems is seeking a customer service representative to act as administrative support for our household and commercial moving customers. This is a challenging position that involves managing the details of our customers' relocations, working with the customer to help them understand the moving process, and working with the team at Corrigan to make sure that we deliver on all of our commitments to the customer. No industry experience is required as we will teach you everything you need to know. You will be based in our Henrietta, NY office. Corrigan was founded in 1929 and is one of the largest moving companies in the Midwest with over 500 employees based out of 12 locations. Customer Service Job Responsibilities A Customer Service Representative is primarily responsible for delivering an excellent customer service experience to our customers. Daily responsibilities in pursuit of this goal include: • Setting Sales Appointments - Talk with prospective customers about the advantage of moving with Corrigan. • Registering Orders - Set up all details of customer's move in our computer system and send paperwork / confirmation letters to customer. • Acting as a Moving Consultant - Work with our customers to help them understand all of the details of the moving process. This may involve as many as 7 calls or more throughout their move. • Coordinating Move Details - Organize all aspects of the customers move, including scheduling their pre-move survey, setting up any 3rd party services, and scheduling their packing, loading, and delivery dates. Customer Service Requirements • Solid intelligence with superior problem solving ability • Solid computer skills required, including: word processing, spreadsheets, email, and typing. Job Type: Part-time to Full-time, with the opportunity to advance to a permanent position within the company. We will be hiring FT positions for the Summer, and this would lead to that opportunity.
