Position Summary

Perform special event set-ups and other various assignments based upon event requests throughout the University. Event set-ups are generally in the early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. (Early AM and late PM are eligible for a $.75shift differential).


Essential Functions

Clean the bleachers in the Clark Gym, the Ritter Ice Rink, the Gordon Field House, and the Polisseni Ice Rink.
Put down and take up the floor coverings in the Clark Gym, the Gordon Field House, the Ritter Ice Rink, and the Gordon Field House.
Ability to learn new tasks quickly
Accomplish tasks an orderly and efficient manner
Perform general cleaning tasks as needed


Skills Required

Must stay until the setup that they sign up for is complete
Must not miss more than three setups that they sign up for
Must be able to follow instructions accurately
Must be able to lift 40 lbs. and push large carts
Very dependable and flexible with time


Skills Preferred

Experience in moving furniture or other large items

Make all physical preparations to areas within buildings where an event is requested.
Move furniture and store or stack as required.
Follow diagrams to set-up tables, chairs, coat racks, curtains, and stations.
Must be a team player
Ability to learn new tasks quickly
Accomplish tasks an orderly and efficient manner
Perform general cleaning tasks as needed

Position Summary

Provide Facilities Management personnel with transportation to various locations on campus. Perform various shipping and receiving duties in order to supplement regular personnel.


Essential Functions

Unload trucks, place goods on loading dock. Check orders against packing lists and complete necessary paperwork. Label supplies neatly for delivery to departments. Place completed package orders in bins marked for delivery. Clerical responsibilities include: Filing purchase orders, proof of delivery receipts and taking messages. Entering receiving report date into computer system for the purpose of records and invoicing. Assist with moving of office equipment, furniture, and deliveries. Drive shuttle van that transports personnel to work-related activities, meetings, and seminars. Coordinate pickups through the utilization of a two-way radio dispatched by the Operations Center. Deliver express packages and documents, which require immediate attention


Skills Required

Must be available in four (4) hour blocks of time. Valid driverís license required - All verbal or written employment offers will be contingent upon completion and clearance of a criminal and/or Motor Vehicle background check. Must use conduct at all times that is courteous, friendly, helpful, and cooperative to students, staff, coworkers, and visitors. Must have knowledge of campus locations. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Good physical health. Experience with hand and power pallet jacks. Must have good communication skills and knowledge of campus helpful. Basic computer skills.
