Knowledge of basic laboratory equipment, basic scientific knowledge and experience with some laboratory methods (e.g. immunohistochemistry, photomicrograph image capture, cell culture/passage, cell counting, cell lysates/Western Blots, immunoprecipitation, RNA and/or DNA extraction, real-time PCR, flow cytometry, confocal microscopy) are required. Ability to communicate clearly in English is required. Basic computer skills a must (Word, Excel, and Statistics program). The person will work in a laboratory focused on understanding the role that cutaneous barrier and innate immune responses play in the development of the inflammatory skin disease, atopic dermatitis or eczema.
