WAGE: $7.40
DAYS: Monday - Friday    HOURS: 9am-4:00pm (flexible)

~ JOB INFORMATION ~

POSITION SUMMARY:
Scan documents for accounts payable departments in accordance with Federal guidelines for document retention.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Prepare documents for scanning; scan documents; review scans for legibility; burn CDs; review CDs for clarity and accuracy. Maintain scanned documents log. Must be able to lift heavy boxes approx. 25 - 30 lbs. RESPOND WITH RESUME TO ABOVE EMAIL ADDRESS.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED:
Confidentiality a MUST. Good computer skills. Attention to detail; ability to focus on time sensitive task; ability to follow-through on assigned duties. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to lift heavy boxes approx. 25 - 30 lbs.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS PREFERRED:
Experience with burning cd's helpful

JOB TITLE: Student Budget Assistant

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Student Budget Assistant is a position within the center for Campus Life. Major responsibilities include supporting the Center for Campus Life Budget Assistant and assisting with processing Procurement card transactions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Assists in the coordination of RIT Procurement cards on a daily basis • Assembles Procurement card monthly statements with proper documentation • Distributes statements to Club Resources Center staff for copying • Distributes documented statement copies to Director and Associate Director for signature and submission to RIT Accounting • Files financial documentation as needed • Additional duties deemed necessary to support Center for Campus Life Budget Assistant

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Fills in at Club Resource Center as needed

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Applicants must be detail oriented with emphasis on working in a meticulous manner • Applicants must be proficient with Microsoft Excel & Word • Applicants must be able to communicate in a positive, respectful manner • Applicants must understand the importance of confidentiality • Applicants must be able to work without close supervision and excel in follow-through on projects and duties as assigned • Applicants must be dependable and possess good work habits • Applicants should have a desire to work with people from different cultures

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS PREFERRED:
1st or 2nd year student preferred.
