ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Create (or improve existing) server based web submission system to allow remote users to upload files and submit information that will be used to drive a variable data printing process.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Have an eye for good web page design.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED:

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position will support the Academic Technology team and will provide assistance with training, as well as technical support for frequently used teaching technologies, and creation of documentation and tutorials demonstrating best practices for using those technologies. Primarily, this student will focus on the support of Adobe Connect and iClickers for both credit and non-credit activities. However, the support of other technologies, as well as the investigation of emerging technologies will also be incorporated into this position as necessary.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Act as a backup for faculty trainings or technical support for The Wallace Center supported technologies, such as Adobe Connect and iClickers • Provide support (on-site or online) for first time Adobe users • Build or revise technology tutorials and documentation • Create faculty showcases or examples • Observation and quality check of current online and classroom teaching tools • Administer surveys and send out e-mail notifications and follow ups • Perform data analysis and reporting for pilot projects

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Scheduling meetings and taking meeting minutes • Other administrative duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED:

POSITION SUMMARY:
The position of Computer Support/Training Assistant reports directly to the NTIS Learning Center Supervisor. It is important that the person filling this position establish a well ongoing and productive relationship with those individuals from the NTID Department of Technical and Support Services assigned to provide computer support to the NTIS Learning Center.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assist NLC and TSO professional staff in ensuring that, from a systems prosepective, NLC students users can easily and independently access computer related curricular resources. Such responsibilities include proving instructional information for LCA/SLCA staff, either by posting it or integrating the information into the computer user-interfaces; and ensuring that students have available the necessary utility programs which can help them use the computer resources as independently as possible.
