For this year’s Student Employment Week, we asked RIT employers for pictures of their student workers who exhibited impressive skills and professionalism as well as being great people. For most employers, our departments could not function without the contributions of our student workers! We invite you to get to know our RIT Students @ Work!!

NRH Area Office
"The NRH Area Office currently has 5 Area Office Assistants (AOA’s ) who help assist the students and staff. Each brings to the NRH Area Office their unique personality and are a true asset" - Mary Brand, Staff Assistant, NRH Area Office


Alecia Crawford, Advertising and Public Relations

Alecia Crawford is in her 4rd year as an AOA and her friendly, helpful smile will be greatly missed upon her May Graduation. In the photo she is assisting student Sneha Koka.


Elspeth Ochs, Mechanical Engineering

Elspeth Ochs is in her 2nd year, currently on CO-OP and looking forward to returning in September. In the photo she is modeling the Tiger jersey she won at the Midnight Breakfast raffle.


Hannah Hayes, Fine Art Photography

Hannah Hayes is in her 3rd year as an AOA and is always eager and willing to assist the staff with any given project using her creative expertise. In the photo is Hannah with Marley!

Brittany Ambeau will be completing her first year as an AOA for the NRH Area Office and the area is thrilled that she will return for the 2011-2012 academic year as an RA for the area!

Our 2 newest AOA’s starting Spring Quarter are Jessica Beiter and Brea Roberts. It is great to bring them on board and we are keeping our fingers crossed and hoping that both will continue with us in the Fall.

"Kurt has been working in the Student Services office of the Kate Gleason College Of Engineering since March of 2009. He is a model employee and is willing to do anything that is asked of him including making several trips outside in freezing cold and wet/rainy weather. He is studying to become a Physician’s Assistant and has 3rd year status. He loves his career choice and his favorite thing right now is Gross Anatomy and takes pleasure in "grossing" us out with stories and pictures. Kurt also enjoys Improv and currently participates in three on campus groups, one of which he formed himself. Some other interests are music (I hear he is a master guitar player) and animals.
