  • Fitness 101
    • Learn all about the facilities and programs on campus to help you get fit. Whether it’s the Student Life Center, or the Better Me Wellness Center in Global Village, Fitness 101 will help you get started on the right plan for you.
  • Cardiovascular Exercise
    • Cardiovascular or aerobic exercise is key to heart health. This program will help you find an activity or activities that you will enjoy and how to incorporate regular heart pumping exercise into your day.
    • FITT Principle – Frequency, Intensity, Type & Time 
  • Strength Training Basics
    • Regular strength or resistance training is key to maintaining or increasing lean muscle, bone density, and also can prevent musculoskeletal injuries.
    • This program will teach you eight strength training exercises that incorporate all of the major muscle groups of the body.
    • You’ll learn which movements to use, how to properly adjust the equipment specific to your needs and how to select starting resistance.
  • Advanced Strength Training
    • If you’ve been strength training for a while and your routine needs a boost, it may be time to learn some advanced movements.
    • Advanced strength training can really help improve some of your favorite activities. Whether you run 5Ks or play golf, advanced strength training can take your performance to a new level.
  • Stretching and Mobility
    • From passive, static stretching to dynamic activities and movements, you’ll learn how to increase muscle flexibility and joint integrity specific to your activities and lifestyle.
