The longer a crisis goes on, the more damage it can do to public support, employee and student morale, enrollment and fund raising. Therefore, it is necessary to handle crises in a swift and organized manner. University News is responsible for developing a crisis communications plan that deals specifically with crisis communication strategies for likely scenarios.
