Cluster: Diversity/Deaf Culture and Language

Programs in this learning cluster are designed to assist in building an awareness of different cultures and to address issues associated with working effectively in the unique RIT community. As students, faculty, and staff from all cultures and backgrounds choose RIT, updating and enhancing our diversity and leadership skills is vital to our innovative pace. Since, Deaf and hard-of-hearing students make up ten percent of RIT's student enrollment, the presence of the deaf community distinguishes RIT from any other university in the world.
