Management & Leadership

The Center for Professional Development offers many courses that will provide you the qualities necessary to be a leader at this university. Please take advantage of these opportunities to hone your skills. As President Bill Destler notes, it is crucial for RIT to have strong leaders in management positions:

"I would like to personally thank you for taking the time to attend training for supervisors and managers. You play a key role in attracting, retaining and developing our employees; our faculty and staff look to you for career guidance, developmental growth, and for consistency when applying our human resource policies and processes.

"This series of offerings is focused on providing supervisors and managers with the skills and knowledge needed to become 'best in class.' Your leadership is critical to the success of our efforts to engage the hearts, minds and talents of each employee as we move RIT from a good place to work to a great place to work.

"Thank you for your dedication to personal development and commitment to RIT’s continued success."
