Cluster: Technology/Computer Skills

Technology has changed the way we do business at RIT and is integral to almost every job within the University. Several programs and services are offered to assist you in enhancing your awareness, knowledge, and skills in the application of technology to your job and/or the application of technology to teaching and learning. Included in this learning cluster are training programs and services delivered by internal departments as well as programs delivered by RIT's external partners.

Excel 2007/2010 Level 1 Training

In this course, students create and edit basic MS Office Excel 2007/2010 worksheets and workbooks.  The class will be taught as a blend of 2007 and 2010; software used and books provided will be 2010 based.


Online Learning through E-LearningZone

In collaboration with the Center for Professional Development, ITS and Element K, E-LearningZone provides a vast library of online courses to meet the diverse academic and professional development needs of the RIT community. All of the self-paced, online courses offered are a no-cost benefit to both you and your department.

Oracle Financial Applications

Oracle is the University's financial and human resource platform for all transactions and databases. This series of three half day classes is very important to new faculty and staff who have budget development/operations and/or purchasing responsibility.

RIT Messaging System and Telecommunications Services
