Changing Your Dining Plan

Who?All students living in the Residence Halls, RIT Inn, and Greek Circle.
When?All changes must be completed online prior to Friday, January 31 before 4:30 p.m.
Why?If you do not want the same plan you currently have for fall semester.
If you do, no further action is required. 
  1. Log into the Dining portal or the Housing portal.
  2. At the home page click “Housing Contract/Dining Plan” in the orange menu bar.
  3. At the Term Selector click the 13-14 (Spring Semester) contract and “Save & Continue.” 
    Important – Please note to ONLY change your dining plan preference.
  4. At Begin Contract click “Save & Continue.
  5. Check the Terms & Conditions box and click “Save & Continue.”
  6. Click “Save & Continue” on Personal & Contact Details and Profile steps.
  7. Check that you agree and then click “Save & Continue.”
  8. Meal Plan Preference Step:
    • Change your selection from the drop down menu and click “Save & Continue".

Important: You will not see the All Debit selection unless you have second year status. If you anticipate having second year status after fall semester, you must wait until your status has changed in the system.

You have successfully changed your dining plan!

If you log out and log back in, your spring preference will now be the plan default on the drop down menu.
