Smart Eating 101

Integrating Smart Nutrition with great taste!

Eating right and maintaining good health is hard work! The first step is knowing what you should be eating and understanding what you are eating. Smart Eating 101 is a series of educational nutrition sessions that showcase healthy options available in RIT Dining Services locations through the presentation of food and cooking demonstrations, tastings, and exhibits.

Smart Eating 101 nutrition sessions and cooking demos are conducted by Chef Stephen Kingston, RIT Dining Services executive chef, who will prepare a variety of tasty and healthy foods and Mary Anne McQuay, RIT Dining Services registered dietitian, who will educate guests on eating healthy on campus, as well as a number of general healthy eating topics.
