The Housing Operations staff coordinates the housing for all summer housing students and conference guests. We are committed to providing outstanding customer service for our residents/guests and to ensure that their needs are met in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.
Summer Conference Housing
A host of organizations hold summer conferences at RIT because of the exceptional facilities and services offered by the University. We house groups that require overnight accommodations and oversee check-ins, check-outs, amenities, and assist groups throughout their stay. For dining plans and related accommodations, visit the Summer Group Dining page on the RIT Dining Services website. Faculty or staff at RIT that wish to offer academic, athletic, leadership or youth camps to the public often organize summer conferences. Programs that do not have an affiliation with the University contact RIT's Government and Community Relations Office and work with RIT's event coordinators to plan conferences on campus.
Summer Quarter and Summer Session Housing
A number of students stay in the residence halls during summer quarter to take classes, work, complete research and thesis work, etc. All of these students are housed in the same residence hall. The location of summer housing currently rotates between Nathaniel Rochester Hall (NRH) and Kate Gleason Hall (KGH).
The Housing Operations office is located in Grace Watson Hall on the residential side of campus. Convenient parking is located on the east side of the building. Click here for a campus map.
May 25, 2014 through August 22, 2014, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Extended hours, including weekends, may pertain to particular conference groups.
