Staff Council Celebrates 20 Years

On Thursday, April 19, 2012, Staff Council hosted a reception to celebrate its 20th anniversary.  RIT President Dr. Bill Destler and President Emeritus Dr. Al Simone joined the festivities in the Vignelli Center University Gallery.

Staff Recognition Awards Ceremony - but no elves

Does the Staff Recognition Awards ceremony just spontaneously occur?  I wish that were possible, but so far the ceremony elves have failed to show up every year.  So, then, how does it happen?  I bet you’d be amazed by the things that go on behind the scenes – I know I am!

2011 Staff Recognition Awards

Staff Council is now accepting nominations for the 2011 Staff Recognition Awards. These awards recognize individual staff members and/or teams of co-workers who have had a major impact on the university; who have excelled in the performance of their duties, promoted team work and inspired excellence in other members of the RIT community; staff members who personify RIT’s Core Values:
