NEW THIS YEAR: Bring your RIT ID
Have you heard about RIT's proposed energy policy? John Moore (FMS) recently gave a presentation to Staff Council regarding the proposed policy and answered many questions about heating, cooling and energy use on campus. The full proposed policy includes heating, cooling, lighting power and water-saving strategies for the entire campus and is attached for your review.
In addition to heating and cooling changes, the policy outlines personal steps we can all take to reduce energy use on campus. John expressed at the meeting that FMS is willing to work with the RIT community to maintain a comfortable environment while saving power and reducing energy costs.
Please review the proposed policy and send me your questions or comments at (email@example.com). Your responses will remain anonymous and will be shared with Staff Council. Feedback is due by Friday, September 27.
