Continuing a new tradition established in 2012, the seventeenth annual Staff Recognition Awards will be presented along with the Isaac L. Jordan, Sr. Staff Pluralism Award during the Presidential Awards for Outstanding Staff ceremony.
New this year, the sixteenth annual Staff Recognition Awards has been combined with the Isaac L. Jordan, Sr. Staff Pluralism Award ceremony to together make the Presidential Awards for Outstanding Staff.
Okay, I have to be honest - I don’t know! Sorry to get your hopes up, but we are all going to have to wait until the Fifteenth Annual Staff Recognition Awards Ceremony on October 5th to find out. In the meantime, our Staff Recognition Awards Display has been repopulated with a bunch of nameless silhouettes as a teaser to help build anticipation leading up to the big day.
Staff Council is now accepting nominations for the 2011 Staff Recognition Awards. These awards recognize individual staff members and/or teams of co-workers who have had a major impact on the university; who have excelled in the performance of their duties, promoted team work and inspired excellence in other members of the RIT community; staff members who personify RIT’s Core Values:

Staff Council is an advisory body to the President, or his/her representative, on issues and decisions which impact Rochester Institute of Technology. Our members solicit feedback from their colleagues to inform the staff perspective that we bring forward on University issues. Additionally, Staff Council initiates policy proposals and revisions, and raises issues for University consideration.
