NEW THIS YEAR: Bring your RIT ID
If you decide to follow President Destler’s and Rebecca Johnson’s example and ride your bike to or on campus you can check out the recommended bike routes. These routes even include how to get back to the office or your parked car (if applicable). RIT’s Parking and Transportation Services has information about the bicycle program on their website that includes campus bike routes, safety tips, FAQs and other links.
In addition, the RIT Recreational Cycling Group meets weekly for non-competitive, social rides. This group goes off campus around the Rochester community as well. If you’d like to learn more about riding with the group feel free to check out the group’s FAQ, or send an e-mail to Joe Pow.
The cycling group has even put together a short video showing some of their last year’s rides. See if you can determine where around town their adventures took them.
