ISTS Cybersecurity Competition
Representatives from multiple sponsors such as Google, Cisco and Amazon came out to see over 50 cybersecurity students show off their hacking skills at the Information Security Talent Search (ISTS) competition. This competition being something a little less traditional than the career fair offers a unique opportunity for students to work to break through the network infrastructure of the company/sponsor.
The ISTS 14 took place this past weekend, March 4-6 at the Student Innovation Center on RIT Campus and featured students from a number of local colleges. The annual competition is run by RIT's Security Practices and Research Student Association (SPARSA), a student-run organization that addresses issues in computing security.
