I did not expect to enjoy programming this much

I did not expect to enjoy programming this much.  I mean, I should have seen it coming, seeing how obsessed I am with discrete math and logic, but as a kid I really had no idea what I’d think of programming.  I was really worried I’d find I wouldn’t like programming, and would wind up having a difficult time studying game development.  Now my bigger fear is writing a line of code that causes an unnecessary cache miss.  That’s probably thanks to my favorite class of this semester, IGME 451: Systems Concepts for Games and Media.
