1. Flash Splash

Spaceships whizzing, tops spinning, puppies playing, cars speeding by — if you can imagine it, you can create it and animate it using Adobe Flash's drawing and animating tools. In just two weeks, we will turn a Flash newbie into a Flash animator, introduce basic programming, and prepare you for more advanced coding and game design concepts. We will teach you how to create characters that jump, spin, and dance across the screen and react to your mouse. This workshop is ideal if you want to move from playing video games to learning how to create your own.

2. Intergalactic Web Explorers

It's time to explore! You've landed on a whole new planet. What do you find? Who do you meet? And, most importantly, how are you going to tell everyone back home about your alien encounter? Learn to build an exciting and engaging web page with the help of Dreamweaver and Photoshop — and share your adventure back on Earth. In this hands-on workshop, you will build a story in which your instructor poses scenarios for you to resolve. You will document these solutions with a fun, interactive website. What happens when an asteroid hits your village? How will you find your way back to Earth? Here's a chance to combine creative problem-solving and web page design as you embark on a whole new journey!
