Honors students spend Spring Break with leading tech companies in Seattle

This past Spring Break was a productive one for Golisano College honors students who traveled to Seattle to visit a variety of tech companies where they networked with RIT alumni and learned more about future opportunities. “Over the course of three days we visited Facebook, Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Boeing and Valve,” explained associate professor and trip chaperone Zack Butler. On most of the visits students were able to learn about the inner workings and culture of the companies through discussions with alumni, Q&A panels, and informal gatherings. The students also spent time sightseeing in Seattle and surrounding areas. For more information on the RIT Honors Program please visit the program's website.
