Bid on one-of-a-kind collectible chairs. Each chair is designed by a different RIT "artist." The funds raised from the individual chairs will be donated to the local United Way agency selected by the artist.
Office of RIT Government and Community Relations serves as the University’s liaison with Federal, State and local government entities as well as community groups and organizations. We are responsible for coordinating RIT’s participation in community events, and manage special events that take place on the RIT campus.
Our mission is to implement a comprehensive program of government relations, community relations and special events to develop and maintain positive and effective relationships between the Institute and all levels of government and the community at large. These relationships result in funding and other types of support, and strengthen RIT’s visibility and image in the community.

RIT’s new Event Management System (EMS)
In July 2015 RIT purchased EMS, an enterprise software system for comprehensive event management. The EMS software offers a full suite of room scheduling, meeting and event management, resource management, master calendaring and online registration/survey solutions.
