Join curator Steven Galbraith for an informal tour of an exhibition celebrating the 45th anniversary of RIT’s Cary Collection. The artifacts on display will chronicle the dramatic history of graphic communication while spotlighting 45 treasures found in the Cary Collection. Highlights include cuneiform clay tablets (c. 2300 BCE), Medieval manuscript leaves, the first “newspaper” ever printed (1472), examples of fine calligraphy, and 20th-century exemplars of fine press printing.
