Jules Chiavaroli

Professor

In his 30-plus years at Rochester Institute of Technology, Jules Chiavaroli has served in numerous capacities in several departments and colleges. He has primarily served as an instructor but has also held important administrative and/or leadership positions.

Professor Chiavaroli is one of only a handful of RIT faculty members who is a native Rochesterian yet he has traveled and studied abroad extensively.

With and undergraduate degree in architecture, a graduate degree in business, and a keen interest in sustainability, urbanism, and publishing, Professor Chiavaroli has experienced first hand the convergence that is occurring in education and the workplace.

This background proved invaluable as he was a key agent in developing RIT’s new Master of Architecture program.
