Continuing Professional Education

CAPS will host ongoing seminars and workshops for community child and adolescent health/mental health care professionals. Directed by the CAPS faculty, this professional education program supports the integration of new, cost-effective skills in psychophysiological self-regulation into community practices. CAPS has begun collecting data from participating care providers to document the resulting change in health care that it promotes. This evidence will then be disseminated, laying the foundation for funding larger, community-based, health care change both regionally and nationally, with RIT-sponsored certification.
