CAPS is affiliated with RIT’s MAGIC Center and the nationally recognized School of Interactive Games and Media. Within this collaboration, CAPS is developing innovative interactive therapeutic games and apps using physiological controllers that focus on helping young people with anxiety and autism spectrum disorders help themselves. Initial funding will continue to support co-operative education students, hardware, travel, and supplies. Then we anticipate that licensing revenues and federal grants will take us forward. This “game-changing” program will be used for clinical trials in this community, then in multicenter trials and expansion of the game concepts.
