Information and cyber security has been becoming more and more critical for business, industry and academia. Many universities, government agencies, and commercial industry have been investing resources to teach and keep up with information security skills efficiently and effectively as possible. In most cases, teaching security is based on learning from lecture and following security exercises in a lab environment. However, this method may not provide effective learning experiences. This exhibit demonstrates security education built around real-world scenarios and actively engages students in the collaborative discovery process by solving real world security problems. Innovative virtual environment using 3D simulation such as Second Life is a good fit to provide various and realistic experience.
