Description:
Take action at this exhibit that highlights the work of RIT University/Community Partnerships. You’ll gain a greater appreciation for community-engaged scholarship. RIT students, faculty and staff and our community partners are working together to promote sustainable community change in Rochester’s neighborhoods. RIT students and community partners share their work and offer fun hands-on activities for the public. Visitors will be able to view a community health video and public service announcements. A slide show of RIT students participating in community engaged scholarship will be displayed. Visitors will learn about and make healthy snacks and share their own healthy recipes in a contest, “Recipes Off the Top of My Head.” Other activities include a challenge that connects you to health and the environment. Visitors can offer their contributions to community health on video; they will be displayed during Imagine Fest and on the Bridges to Wellness and RIT University/Community Partnerships websites.
