RIT Public Speaking Contest Final Round

Exhibit Code: OUT-168
Zone: RIT Central
Location: Outside (OUT/000) - Scholars Bench
Time: All Day

Description:
“According to most studies, people's No. 1 fear is public speaking … if you go to a funeral, you're better off in the casket than doing the eulogy,” says comedian Jerry Seinfeld. Visitors can watch RIT students as they face their fears and soar to new heights. Every year the best and brightest public speakers at RIT compete for the title and prizes in an institute-wide speech contest. These students research, write, and deliver speeches to panel of judges in a series of preliminary rounds. The top speakers will compete before a panel of judges made up of people attending Imagine RIT. If you would like to be considered to be a judge, stop by the Scholar’s Bench outside of Liberal Arts Hall 15 minutes early. This promises to be an exciting event. 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Exhibitors:
David Neumann, Kelly Martin, Andrew Quagliata, Elizabeth Reeves-O'Connor, Keri Barone
