Description:
The 2012 Premedical Student Association’s Imagine RIT exhibit will feature healthy fun for visitors of all ages. The exhibit features with two life-size versions of the popular game Operation. One board will feature the classical components of the original game while the other will contain plastic models of various organs such as the heart, lungs, kidneys, and bones placed in their anatomically correct locations. Visitors will try to figure out which organs need removal. The exhibit will also feature a Granola Bar complete with baristas who will be ready to serve up custom-made granola containing only the healthiest ingredients. Visitors will be able to pick and choose exactly what they would like while learning about the health benefits and nutritional information of each ingredient. With their brain food in hand, younger children can visit the brain making station where they will love making their own crayon brains! The exhibit culminates with demonstrations of healthy versus unhealthy lifestyle choices and their vast effects on the body with a display of preserved human organs.
