Description:
Min is an interface for constructing Internet search queries that include mathematics. Formulas are written using finger/mouse and keyboard, and then inserted into the search string at the user’s request. Queries may be submitted to online search engines such as Springer’s LATEX Search. Min is implemented in JavaScript, and runs in Web browsers for desktop machines and tablets (iPads). Recognition of handwritten symbols and symbol layout are provided through Web services created by our group.
