Description:
Visitors will be treated to a hands-on display of radio communications. Demonstrations will include position tracking, emergency communications, and antenna design. Our club covers the concept of the Automated Packet Reporting System by tracking courtesy vehicles used for Imagine RIT. In addition, the club demonstrates emergency communications without the use of the Internet or telephone systems. We will also be demonstrating antenna designs using common, everyday materials.
