Hodge-Podge of Physics

Exhibit Code: GOS-110
Zone: Science Center
Location: Thomas Gosnell Hall (GOS/008) - Atrium: A-level
Time: All Day

Description:
The Society of Physics Students is providing a “hodge-podge” of physics experiments to entertain the scientist in all of us. From simple pendulums to rotating bodies, falling faster than gravity to tracking particles through a cloud chamber, we’re offering an opportunity to test your wit and experiment with everyday sensations. The experiments we offer include: uncoupled pendulums moment of inertia (rotation); cloud chamber (tracking particles); center of mass falling harmonograph (coloring pendulum);, Bernoulli’s effect; phone book friction; granular gripper; and magnetic levitation.
