Description:
Healthcare systems need to be fundamentally transformed from reactive and clinic-centered to proactive, preventive and patient-centered. However, that transformation is only possible through sharing electronic health records among healthcare providers and patients, and engaging patients in their health, wellness, and medical decisions. This exhibit focuses on the security and privacy aspects of protecting exchanged electronic health records, particularly in the problem of access control.
