Nanomanipulator Senior Design Project
Exhibit Code: ENG-205
Zone: Engineering Park
Location: Engineering Hall (ENG/017) - 2911
Time: All Day
Description:
A nanomanipulator is used to maneuver devices under microscopes. They are very expensive, restricting use of them to a few research labs. The goal of our project is to design a low cost nanomanipulator that can be controlled by a computer. Lowering the cost will make this technology accessible to more high school and undergraduate students, which will then increase the participation in nanoscience.
