The Center for Student Innovation organizes and hosts Research and Innovation Symposia on the last Friday of the Summer and Winter quarters.
The Symposia are organized of, by, and for, students, faculty, and staff from all disciplines. They celebrates the achievements of young researchers and innovators, as well as their ability to communicate their work and its significance, in terms that can be understood by non-specialists.
External judges help us award prizes to the best talks and posters in a variety of categories. (The prizes enable students to advance their research or present it on the national stage.) The judges' opinions also allow us to say, with confidence, that the quality and the quantity of the presentations is extraordinary.
