Q: What is Computer-based Training (CBT)?A: Computer-based training (CBT) involves learning by interacting with computer training programs. The CBT system at RIT is called the E-LearningZone. E-LearningZone is an on-line learning system for faculty, staff, and students developed and hosted by ElementK. Students, faculty and staff can use a web browser to access the E-LearningZone with their RIT Computer Account username and password. Once connected, they can access over 1,400 online courses in the following areas:
- Business, Human Resources, and Soft Skills
- Communications Technologies
- Data Bases
- Design & Media
- Environmental, Health & Safety
- Hardware, Networks & Operating Systems
- Home Computing
- IT Security
- Office Productivity & Desktop Applications
