ITS BlackBerry Enterprise Services - Checking Network Settings

Checking your BlackBerry’s network settings verifies that it is properly configured to send and receive wireless information.

  1. Turn on your BlackBerry.

  2. Make sure you can see the antenna icon in the Status part of the screen. If you cannot see the antenna icon, click the Turn Wireless On icon.

  3. Click the Options icon.

  4. Click Network.

  5. Click Scan for Networks and verify that the BlackBerry is running on the correct network. The network name should correspond with your service provider.

  6. Make sure the Network Selection Mode is set to Automatic.
