Copy a file by drag and drop

Hold down the Option key on the keyboard while dragging a file to copy - or duplicate - it when it is dropped at its destination.

The on-screen cursor will change to include a plus sign when you hold down the Option key.

Files are automatically duplicated when you drag them from one disk to another.
