Drag and drop message attachments on the Microsoft Entourage Dock icon
If you can see a file in the Finder -- either on your Desktop or in a window -- you may want to quickly add it to an e-mail message or event invitation. You can!
Drag the file(s) from the Finder and drop them onto the Entourage icon in the "Mac OS X Dock".
You may wonder whether you can Drag and drop a title bar proxy icon into a Microsoft Entourage message. You can also do this! Click and hold, then drag the proxy icon from the title bar of a document window onto the Entourage icon in the Dock.
The result:
- If you already have a message window open in Entourage, the file(s) will be attached to it.
- If you aren't composing a message already, a new one will be opened for you and the file(s) will be attached to it.
You can then complete the message and send it with the attachment(s).
