MacShack
MacShack was added to RIT's list of recommended Macintosh hardware service vendors in December 2001.
MacShack can handle:
- warranty service
- AppleCare extended warranty service
- out-of-warranty service, subject to an hourly fee but travel charges do not apply
- local service of Power Macintosh G4 Cube, PowerBook G4, and all iBook portables (which normally require shipment to and from Apple's depot repair facility).
They are working to provide drop-off/pick-up service through the RIT Campus Connections bookstore.
