Make Netscape Messenger window panes visible
There are two ways to get a pane of the Netscape Messenger window to reappear if it is no longer visible. You must have the Netscape Messenger mail window open in Netscape Communicator 4.7/4.8 to use either.
- Click once on the control area in the border between the window panes. The control area is the dotted line between to arrows, and is found in the grey border between the window panes. When you move your cursor over it, your cursor will change to the shape of a hand with a pointing finger, and the control area should highlight with your system's default highlight color.
- Select the pane you are missing from the "Show" submenu under the View menu in Netscape Messenger.
The panes that are currently visible will have checkboxes next to their names in the "Show" submenu of the View menu. So, if the Folders pane is currently visible, the View -> Show -> Folders submenu item will have a checkbox next to its name.
