Find Exchange account folder sizes in Microsoft Outlook 2001
If you are using classic Mac OS or the "Mac OS X Classic environment", you can find the size of folders in your Exchange account with Microsoft Outlook 2001.
You must have Outlook 2001 set up to connect with your Exchange account first.
Then:
- Control-click or right-click (see Right-clicking) on the icon at the far right of the colored bar in the Outlook 2001 main window. The icon will normally have some relationship to the folder you are in -- if you're in the Inbox, it will look like an "in" tray, while if you're in the Calendar, it will look like a calendar grid. When you click, a menu will pop-up.

- Select "Show Folder Size" from the pop-up menu. The descriptive text next to the icon will change to show the size of the folder.

- Click on another folder in the folder list or an icon in the color-shaded Outlook Bar to display its size.

The "Show Folder Size" option toggles between information about a folder's contents and its size. For example, rather than showing that you have 898 items in your Inbox, with 54 unread, it will indicate that your Inbox consumes 16.7 MB of space. Or, instead of displaying the current week of your calendar view, it will change to show that you have used 1.5 MB of quota space with your entire calendar.

Unfortunately, we are not currently aware of a reliable way to show the total amount of quota space your Exchange account is using.
